Snorkels for sale....
Why do I have 14 snorkels? Well, I'll tell you. It's because they always fall off masks and get left on dive sites. So, my gain is now your gain.
I'm getting rid of em at $5 a piece..... Call early for best selection (got new dry snorks and classic style too). Come up and take a look.....
Or take em all for $50!

What have you got in "classics?" Any Farallon?

I've got a Farallon snork but it's a simple wrap-around style formed tube with fixed mouthpiece and simple orange band that is lettered with "FARALLON US PATENT 3844281". This one had the moldable bite pieces but these are long gone; didn't work too good for me anyway. There was another model which had an adjustable lower section and mouthpiece, with "FARALLON" molded in and with 3 color bands. I also have the Farallon "SnorkeLock" which is a snork keeper which provides a disconnect feature using two mated discs which interlock with a cluster of nubs.
Farallon was/is known for their diver propulsion vehicles; I think some were used in the James Bond movie "Thunderball". They were also well known for their "Shark Dart" which was basically a CO2 hypodermic; 16g, 25g, and mongo 38g CO2 cartridges. There were handheld and pole spear versions. Back in the day, such weapons were very popular -- macho, but dangerous and, while they did work, in all practicality, they were useless baggage. There was even a gas speargun called the SMG which featured a rotating multi-barrel device which accepted multiple spears and powerheads. Yep, testosterone levels marketed with diving were off the scale back then. The most effective and fearsome powerhead was the Rhett McNair "Fast Load", sold by AquaCraft I believe. The cartridge was basically a 30-30 rifle case mated to a .38 pistol case. Its destructive power came from the gas blast. It was indeed fast loading. The detonation cleared the powerhead and another cartridge could be inserted in blink. There's a picture sequence of one in action against a blue in a small book "Sharks of Polynesia" (which might still be found in used bookstores). Horrifically effective. Thankfully, because of the cost and scarcity of the custom cartridges, the Fast Load disappeared into history.
