www.bohol.ph offers extensive information on almost everything about bohol.

recommended accommodation: isis bungalows is located along the stretch of the white sand of alona beach. the view from their bungalows is amazing and the rooms are well maintained and clean. (it re-opened in 2005 after it got burned down to ashes years earlier)

    food:
there's no shortage of restaurants to choose from in panglao (alona). however, after extended period of staying in the island, dishes seem to taste the same across restos . however, i highly recommend the seafood dinner at isis. a lapu lapu sweet and sour is not to be missed.

out the beaten path for divers: do not miss the island tour; tarsier watching at the tarsier sanctuary, the famous chocolate hills of bohol, the ultra clean loboc river, among others.

    transportation:
bohol can be reach by manila through a 55-minute flight (cebu pacific and pal flies from mla to tagbilaran airport couple of times everyday). it can also be accessible from either cebu or dumaguete through a ferry ride (2 hours, 1.5 hours respectively). weesam express or ocean jet are recommended.
maggie (this is what i do during surface interval)

    why don't you do something?
if you can count it, it can't be that many- tim tan

Bohol Beach Club on Alona Beach is nice but upscale pricey for everyone else (my cousin manages the resort and my uncle owns it, so of course that's the only place I'll go in Bohol/Panglao for my accommodations), and their dive ops is good. The surrounding reefs of Panglao Island and especially Balicasag Island have very good wall diving, clear waters and large variety of marine & schooling fish life. . .
