Helpful Answers feature updated

Hello Dive Matrix members and guests!

Today we completed an update of our Helpful Answers feature which allows you to give feedback on posts in dozens of our forums. While the new upgrades may not look like much at first glance you'll find that if you rate a post you no longer have to navigate back to the thread to continue reading it. You'll also find a stronger emphasis on the ratings and coming soon a list of the top rated posts from around the site.

The ratings from this feature help new members and visitors to the site identify the posts that are most relevant to any topic and help them hone in on the right information so taking a few seconds to rate a post is a big, big help!

This feature remains available in most of our discussion forums. Just look for it at the bottom of each post and give it a try.

I have never really understood why "did you find this post helpful" is visible in some subforums and not others. Could you elaborate on where its available and where it isn't?

Great question. The feature should be available in most forums where people would be likely to post Q&A responses that are acceptable to rating. For example, you'll find it in the general forum where you would expect to see multiple responses trying to answer a question but not in this forum where most responses are follow-up questions.
