    Lightbulb WTB: Can Light

    Hey all,
I'm looking for a average can light that is under $500 and unused, or slightly used. If anyone knows of any deals right now, would you please let me know by sending me a PM?

    Cheers,
    Taylor

OK, sorry guys. Let me rephrase this. I'm looking for a canister light under $600. When you PM me, please let me know what the burntime of the light is, number of lumens, type of bulb, and type of battery!

    Cheers,
    Taylor

For your $500-ish, you'll either end up with a 10W DiveRite (don't pay over $400 if its MINT) which is an amazing light and will become your future buddy light / Back Up HID, or a Sartek.

I've had both, and both are fine lights.

If you get into the $775 - $825 range, now you're in the 18 to 24 watt HID range for Salvo, Halcyon or Halvo.

Keep your eyes open and post your note on the Deco Stop, too. 10W's are always coming up on the secondary market. It won't take you long to find one.

    Good luck.

Phil at DiveSports is having a sale on NEW DiveRite 10w lights. $500 for fixed head, $600 for focusable. Just FYI. There is a post in Hot Deals on one of these dive 'boards... can't recall which. I read it today, though.
Uh-oh... what happens if you chose both pills?!?

I bought a used Terkel 10W for $400 about four months ago.

With the Salvo LED lights coming out, there may be a fair number of used Salvo 10ws coming on the market, too.

Taylor - I'd be willing to part with my 10 watt adjustable focus Halcyon Proteus 3 for $475. 100 minute burn time (batteries only cost about $10 for this one - so it's easy to get 2 or 3 batteries)

    Aloha, Tim

P.S. I'd also be willing to part with it for $700 if you prefer

I like the looks of that! Would you keep it until September, when we come to Maui? Is that a HID light? What type of bulb? If you want, give me a call at (250)-656-5113 ! I'd love to have a chat!
