    Default Howdy from East Tennessee

Hey I'm new to the forum ( as a member/posting) I've been reading it for awhile now. I enjoy diving just about anywhere that is wet, warm water cold water doesn't matter; reef, wreck; 80' viz or 3' viz. I believe that there isnt anything that a good day diving can't cure (and I haven't had a bad day diving yet) . I travel fairly regularly for my work and try to bring my gear if there is a chance of diving.

...and now.... Now you have more buddies at dive sites all over the place!

    Welcome to the Dive Matrix.

With your catholic taste in diving, I'm looking forward to hearing about your next dives.
When you like more kinds of water you get to dive more.
And THAT doesn't suck at all.

Holler if you're ever traveling to SoCal!

    Glad you're here!

Welcome to the DMX. Variety is a wonderful thing and SCUBA delivers a lot of variety. If you are in SoCal give a shout.

Thank you for the warm welcome Claudette and Melvin.

Claudette, we actually met in January on the Spectre. I was diving with Nirupam and John Manos on sunday when you and Ken were diving. It looks like I will be in SoCal again within the next couple months, although a bit further south than Ventura. Any recommendations for the San Diego Area?

    James!!!!

Thank you so much for the prompt.
That was a very fun day on the Spectre!!

Let me know what dates you're anticipating in San Diego.
I'd be happy to cruise throught the dive calendars of a couple of my favorite boats, looking for a good selection of sites.

San Diego is unprotected from the Northwest swell, so the planned destinations may change based on the swell model that day.
They can usually find someplace to dive.
The only nearby islands to tuck in behind are the Coronados, which I have never dived.

If you're interested in San Diego shore diving, PowerScuba has lots and LOTS of organized short dive events that all are welcome to attend.

Post your dates here and who knows what kind of Dive Matrix fun could result!

    San Diego diving is awesome.
