A buddy and I plan to do a couple of dives at Edmonds this Sunday the 29th. Plan to arrive shortly after 9:00 am to gear up for the first dive if anyone wants to join us. Will be in a silver toyota tundra with canopy and bc plates.

On Sunday there is a 08:15 -1.4 to 16:07 10.3 flood tide. I don't dive there very often but that may be enough current to be unpleasant until the late afternoon. Keep in mind that a flooding tide will create a current that sweeps you towards the ferry. You can also post in the dive planning forum at Northwest Dive Club and get an answer from folks that dive there regularly. I'll be in a class all day at Cove II in West Seattle which isn't as subject to currents and would defiantly be a place you could dive in the morning.
Hi, and thanks for the info. I found a current prediction table for Edmonds that shows a 0 knot slack at 10:02am start of flood and a .25 current at max flood at 12:33 pm then another slack at 4:10 start of ebb so it looks like according to the "predictions" we should be fine. I say predictions because one time at keystone the currents were almost the opposite of the current tables. Supposed slack dive had a ripping current and the current tme was not even moving. Wierd.
