    Default Greetings from Indonesia

Having a grand old time (despite some on-and off rain) on our Reef Seekers trip to Manado, Indonesia, diving with our friends at Murex Resort. We'll be diving through Wednesday, including a visit to the legendary Lembeh Straits on Sunday.I'm posting Top 10 pix daily (and some videos - love my GoPro) and if you're interested, use this link and then choose whatever strikes your fancy: http://kenkurtis.smugmug.com/ .- Ken

    Amazing life, Ken!
Thank you for sharing the fun.

It made me smile to watch the video of things you saw yesterday. Wonderful world!

    Hey Ken-
I've been thinking about signing up for a smugmug account, how do you like them?

LOVE them. I've got a paid account ($60 a year) which allows me to upload a lot more photos and also put up videos. Easy site to navigate around and very intuitive. I'm sure I haven't tapped into it's full potential yet. Seems to be easy for people to browse as well. (And I love the fact I can set things up as an auto-play slide show.) On this Indo trip (I can track stats), I've had about 10,000 photos views of the stuff I've posted.

Besides, how could you NOT love someone who calls themsevles "SmugMug"?????

    :-)

Also kudos to Dana Rodda as she's the one who turned me on to SmugMug.

I've heard some good things about them. Any clue as to how smoothly integration into Adobe Lightroom works?

No clue. I don't use Lightroom. But since what you upload to Smugmug are completed JPGs or other image formats, I don't see why there should be an issue.

I use Lightroom, and it touts being able to upload to places like hotmail, SmugMug etc. with a plugin that lets you do a "One-Click Upload" from teh LR interface. Its supposed to convert it, apply any processing, resizing, etc, and post all using their built-in UI.

I've never used it, so I'm trying to figure if it really works.
