My chart says -11lbs for the X8-119. I've also noticed most wings won't fully inflate with an 8" tank.

We test the actual capacity of DSS wings using the most restrictive combination. For a single rig that is a 8" cylinder, with a stainless plate with weight plates.

    Weight the wing empty.

Build up the rig as described

Fill the wing with water when it is assembled

Remove the wing and weigh it again.

The difference in the two weights represents the capacity of the wing.

In most cases the wing capacity in the "free state", not assembled, is 3-6 lbs greater than when assembled.

Most manufacturers don't put as much thought into it as Tobin.

Just out of curiosity, do you measure the weight with fresh water?
