Insurance for Camera gear

Hey all,
Just got a new rig and looking to insure it, have looked at the DAN sponsored equipment insurance and it seems fairly reasonable, but I was wondering if anyone has had to file claims with them and run into any headaches. Also would love suggestions about any other companies available.

Hey buddy

DAN Equipment Insurance ("H2O") runs about $3.50 per $100 of coverage.

Its simple to apply for (all online) easy to add items and monitor your coverage through their site.

Claims are brainless. Also online, then you FAX over repair prices or retail prices of comparable gear, and you'll have a check for your claim amount, up to your max coverage, less the $250 flood deductible (if it was flooded) in about a week.

I've had H2O coverage for years, I cover all my important stuff, (camera, housing, lenses, strobes) as well as my dive computers. I also cover the batteries in my can light and scooter.

They've been great. I highly recommend them.
