Thanks buddy
I was on that page, just didn't find the items.
Here are the images. I don't have a stopper on the Cath side socket - only on the tube side plug. I can't have enough of the cath-side sockets... these things just disappear (mostly in the laundry or the heads on Dive Boats, I'm sure.)
Thanks again - order placed. I'm sure my order will arrive any moment, knowing these guys.
YEAH! More yellow blazed bags!

Not to dredge up an old thread but I have a few questions. I ordered the above parts pictured in Mo2's post. Now, for the 5012K82 piece, that goes into the pvalve hose I assume. How do you put it in, do you just jam it into the plastic end that is at the end of the pvalve hose? I have the H valve for reference.
Also, for the piece that goes into the cath, 5012K71. How do you attach it to the cath? The ribbed end is too thin and won't hold the cath on.
End - embarrassing noob questions.![]()

HI buddy
Most PV's are Norprene... and most will fit the parts above. My understanding is some valves, some of the newer ones, use a much smaller diameter silicone hose.
With most valves on the market - the larger norprene tubes - Yes - you just kinda jam the QD in to the end of the norprene tube. If you have one of those PV's with the skinny tube, get a smaller QD. Someone on here will know the ID ('inside diameter') of that smaller tube.
Images of the cath soon. Its late.

Oh, thank you for resurrecting this thread! I need to order one, and didn't know the parts numbers. Perfect timing!

Awesome, thanks Mo2! The H valve has a plastic bit at the end for connecting the cath too, guess I just have to pull that thing out.

BTW, I have the Dive Rite valve, and it came with the tiny ID hose. The Hose barb on the valve itself threads into the valve, so you can unscrew it and replace it with a larger barb. In my case, it had a single barb, and kept leaking. I replaced it with a triple barb...

Diver Steve knows his stuff!
And how do you get the cath connected onto it's quick disconnect piece? Do you wrap it over the flange?

The best piece of advice I ever received about setting the plumbing was to cut about 1/3 to 1/2 of the end of the cath off prior to inserting the QD male end.
The cath end can fold over - and it will, thus restricting or even stopping flow.
Not good.
Since I've begun cutting the end of years ago, not only is the entire device more comfortable, but I've never had a flow choke.

The end - buy a dozen of these - they migrate
The Cath - I get them 100 at a time from Lighthouse for the Blind (Linky)
Cut the end!!
Once cut, work in the barbed end. Easy peasy.
The rest of the installation procedure you'll need to work out on your own.

Thanks Mo2!
Rats, I think mcmaster sent me the wrong size couplings... the ones I got are too small to seal with the cath ...
