Default What do you do to stand out (My Led Zeppelin suit)

So I didn't want to look like everyone else underwater, so I decided to put some patches on my suit from one of my favorite bands, Led Zeppelin. I've got one patch with the symbols for each of the four members of the band scattered about my suit.

A friend of mine has some real kick ___ fin art on his Jets. What do you do to make you and your gear stand out underwater?

This past weekend, I was diving with three other divers....all of whom were wearing Fusions. I was longing for the days when one buddy was in a red CF200 and the other buddy was in a blue Bare drysuit

They all need some way to stand out from one another!

I wear orange dry gloves with a suit that looks terrible with orange

Default Gosh, let me count the ways...

Pink Gauge console on my scoot.

Two white rings on my scoot prop.

Black tow cord on the scoot.

Multi-color hose hat on LP inflator.

Green zip tie on back up necklace.

Name on fins - readable from behind.

Name on can light bottom - readable from behind.

Name embroidered on mask strap - readable from behind.

Name on cylinder neck, readable from front.

X1 on wrist - readable from space.

This isn't as silly as it may sound. This is an excellent question.

I take time during gearing up to pick out recognizable things from each member of the team, so I know who's who under water. Then I quiz myself on the ascent, and throughout the dive - "OK - the zip tie on the fin is Karen. From the front Karen has the 350 with the blue overlay. Chica has her name on her fins and the Teal overlay. Tobin has the white canister and the toy doubles. Sounder has the chicken on his left D ring..."

    Very important.

Fat man in a Fusion with yellow hard weights on the belt. When I was sporting the Force Fins those were probably the thing people remembered the most.

I hold my fins vertically and generally flop around a lot. I only do it for my buddies benifit.
I think you guys are way over thinking this thing, if it was worth all this heavy brainiac thought, Tobin would be on here. Go diving. -- AzTek Diver

I also use orange gloves, and I have an orange doubles wing (not very orange any more, sadly). I have hibiscus flower surfboard decals on my Jets. And I now have red and orange harness webbing on my doubles rig. At one point, I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on a bright red Fusion Bullet skin, too.

I have a red wing for my doubles. It's not that I'm trying to stand out. It's what my Snuggle buddy had in his storage. I just want to look like a good diver.

My buddy for the last week in Mackinaw was using some bright yellow webbing that really helped pick him out.

Brightest light and it projects a square beam. It really is hip to be square.

What kind of light is it?

DIY 21w LED w/ aspheric optics. No spill, 100% spot. In a group of divers w/ hids it really stands out (because it's a square beam).
