I dont need anything flash, just something that works, is reliable and is fairly easy to get serviced over here.

So with that in mind what would be your recommendations? Is there any specific regs that I should steer clear of?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Cheers
Given you are an Aussie www.divetub.com, email Chris there and he does good deals, price matches overseas. He also sells service kits and runs servicing courses so you can learn how to service them yourself.

I got two sets of Zeagle regs from there, cheaper than what I would have paid Leisurepro or similar.

*Highly* recommend this place, one of the best stores in Australia.

Oh I just remembered, if you want HOG regs try http://www.subaquatic.com.au/, also in WA. Bought my twinset from there and have been happy with the service there as well.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out.

I would be surprised if I can get a deal over here anywhere close to some of the net deals from the US, the prices over here for stuff like this are crazy! It was always cheaper for me to get motor bike exausts and other heavy/large gear shipped to me from the US than any other way...local net included. Most of the times about 50% cheaper!!

Anyway thanks for the good info,

    Cheers!

Yea I was surprised too But I wrote them an email and said what I wanted in a reg and got a quote back, which I was really happy with. The other big benefit of buying from Chriso is that he supports people who wish to service their own regs. He also has gear floating around Australia for people to try out before they buy but I've never done this so not sure how that works. With the servicing, I am hoping to do a Zeagle servicing course this year if they organise one for Melbourne, otherwise at Oztek next year. For future references the following stores have worked with me on prices:

    www.divetub.com
    www.subaquatic.com.au
www.diveimports.com is cheapest for tanks (in WA, there's another one in NSW but not familiar with them)
www.scubadoctor.com.au (actually I go to this place all the time in Melb, my favourite local shop)

Often I order from overseas though...

Good luck with sorting some regs

Thanks for all the advice/info everyone, much appreciated.

I ended up going with the EDGE epic package from TDL. I liked the zeagle stuff from Ive tub but the savings on the EDGE package was too much too ignore...It comes to under $350 delivered to my door, cant argue with that
