Whites Fusion
Diving Concepts TPS Extreme
4lbs Freedom Plate
4lbs in pocket at back (butt) end of crotch strap
8lbs on belt
~2lbs can light
The rest can be used to entertain children. I'm guessing Jax has no leaks other than poor sealing at the neck.
Jax:
Was it distracting at all? Or doable?
I'm also curious how you will mount it on your kit. I'm looking for a second backup, and these look just a tad too big.
I'm not sure i understand. Is this a recent, or chronic problem?
I know that feeling well! Have you tried a Bio-Seal? I used one when I trimmed my seal too far, and didn't want to pay for the re-do. When I got it right, it worked pretty well. Getting it right...
That was the point i was trying to make in #5. It HAS happened to me. :) Next dive will be dry!
Put on the suit, and look in the mirror. Unless the seal is nice and flat all around, there is a chance you'll get some kind of incursion. It could be you had a one-time problem with setting the...
Pay close attention to how the seal sits on your neck next dive. Have a buddy check that it is flat all around. If it does the roll over, you may need to trim a bit. If not, and you still get...
I've had that happen actually. When the seal is not quite touching the undergarment. The inflator could be making a gap that the water follows.
Make a very soapy water solution and pour it...
Neck seal potentially. If it rolls, kinks, not completely flat, you can get incursions.
If that's not it, have you tried the soapy water while the suit is in Michelin Man mode? Let's hope it...
Triumph! Exhaust worked as expected, as did my recently installed pee valve. I was a happy diver last night.
I was premature in my judgment. While a BIT better, the valve did not exhaust as quickly as usual. For tomorrow night's dive, I have removed the little poppet thing in the spring which really seems...
Thanks Jax,
Removing the whole unit seemed to solve the problem, though I'm not sure why. Perhaps there was a large grain of sand that was able to fall out as a result. Anyway, it appears to be...
Thanks Jax, yes, that's where I got the info to:
Everything up to that point appears OK, and I am not getting any leaks. It's the exhaust that's the problem. Lynne didn't detail removing the...
Been diving this suit for a while, so know what to expect.
Last night I noticed immediately upon decent that the suit was not squeezing me as usual. When ascending, I had to hit the dump valve...
Which I think supports what Lynne was saying. Fatigued spring. I wonder if SiTech supplies just the spring?
It looks as if they might:

I'm not sure I understand correctly: are the DIN caps NOT sufficient protection for reg soaking?
I toss my regs in a bucket of fresh water after dives, and remove them when I get home.
I USED this post two weeks ago after a dive in water that moves.
I didn't find the conditions so bad...but maybe it's because it'd been too long since I'd gotten wet.
True enough, the vis was pretty bad...but you're right Ken...the usual suspects were out...and...

 Gotta pay more attention! :D
Good to hear...I look forward to "sticking it to the man!"
I can't commit yet...but I likes!
If I can't make this one, are you planning on making this a habit? (or is it already?)
Good project idea. How does it look clipped off? Are you clipping it as if it were a can light?
