I'm on my second year with the cordura cover from Piranha. No complaints, has held up fine. I've got several different "brands" of wetnotes, they all look and fit the same, no issues yet.

The one that came with my DAN SMB has been on ~150 dives (all freshwater) and is still fine. I slid a piece of mountain bike tube over it to protect the surface from scratches and just keep it...
I wish it was warm enough in Chicago for us to have that kinda rain. Instead I just gotta deal with shoveling snow and slipping on ice. Last week we had 4* (F) with wind chills of -20 below one...
Good info, thanks Tom!
To dry the inside I hang the suit on a foldable drysuit hanger then put a small cheap clip-on desk fan onto the hanger inside the suit and turn it on pointing down, basically a homemade hang-air....
Same up here Tom. Most the people I've spoken with who have dive stickers on their cars love diving, are very avid and will talk quite a bit about it when asked, but seem to not be making dives...
Thanks for fixing that. I removed the link from my post.
It's up and working as of a few minutes ago.
I'm not sure how I feel about all the light flashing moments, need a little time on that one. But overall, so far I like what I'm seeing and am...
Link isn't working (yet). I get a message saying the video is unavailable.
I've only had one bulb failure, most of what I've seen has been a bad battery/charger. Along the same lines I've seen a few times the charger says a battery is charged in the morning then it dies...
Reviving two and a half year old thread just to tell someone how much better of a diver you are??:nah:
I've been using the light Monkey unbalanced P-valve since early this year without issue. I used to have the Oxycheq balanced but it leaked pee on me quite often so I pulled the balancing valves and...
After a few times of replacing my "one-way" check valves and still frequently getting wet I just removed them and ran a hose straight to the valve, no more leaking issues. I've never experienced any...
I like the second shot a lot. The composition of the diver and the wreck really gives a sense of scale and depth and makes it looks like a great dive. I also really like the way the exhaust bubbles...
I've carried both a Luxfer 40 and a Catalina 40 at the same time and I didn't notice any dramatic difference between them. I'm equally happy with either. YMMV
I use them on most dives. Nothing fancy, usually just a quick note about something I saw to jog my memory later when I make notes about the dive. I've used them more times than I'd like for...
IME, many new divers wait too long to begin equalizing, usually til it hurts. You should begin equalizing once you are under water, only a foot or two, then continue every foot or two on the way...
Been using a 7' w/ the doubles and a 5' with the singles (switched to a 7' a few months back) miflex hose for 2 years and almost 200 dives. No issues whatsoever. They are a little floaty but it...
Great find, congratulations to all involved!
Ken - If you soak the add on module in hot tap water for a few minutes you should be able to pull the compass out of the housing fairly easily. I found once the shell softens that twisting it lightly...
It's all pretty subjective. One of the guys I dove with a lot last year does 10fpm ascents as he feels they are safer and says he feels better after diving since doing them. I tried that ascent rate...
No offense, as long as you know what's in your bottle who cares what the fill monkey says your MOD is? You should always analyze and mark your own bottles. This should have been stressed in your...
I've bought them in the story near me without issue before. No problems when ordering a box online either. Perhaps the pharmcy person was confused?
Try an old soldering iron to melt it back shut.
